What’s the best thing you’ve ever found randomly on the street?
As an impoverished postgraduate student in Manchester, times were tough. I was down to my last serving of rice along with some cucumber and celery. It was a sunny Sunday which was quite unusual in Manchester. I was walking to college and I spotted the Queen’s face on the floor. It was purple. To my amazement I realised it was a £20 note snagged in some shrubbery. With it I bought a Sunday newspaper to keep me entertained for the week and some food. Funny how I remember the paper, not so much the food. It was the best £20 of my life.
